Please note that due to factors such as scheduling availability, provider specialized areas of treatment, & complexity of medical &/or psychiatric needs, we may not be able to accept every request for care. We strive to ensure the patients we care for have high quality care, and this can sometimes mean limiting the number of new patients we can accept, given our resources. We will contact you shortly to discuss next steps & determine how we can best assist you in your request.

Please note that at this time, NMH provides medication management services for mental health conditions. While we do spend time providing supportive therapy during medication visits, at this time, Amanda Mitchell, PMHNP does not provide therapy/counseling as a stand-alone service. We are happy to provide additional information for referral options, if you are interested in only psychotherapy- just let us know!

(Please note, that at this time, NMH offers both virtual telehealth & in-person office appointments for residents in NC, however this is subject to change based on federal & state requirements, or at the provider's request, if more precise assessment is desired/needed.
